Los mayorístas de aguacate de la Central de Abasto del Distrito Federal y su vínculo con el campo de Michoacán, México

Abstract

This article describes the suplí mechanism used for the main avocado wholesalers in Mexico City food suplí center (CEDADF), including an análisis of the different thinks along the distribution chain, it also analyzes the producers and packers participation and Cupanda as a social organization which has joined the avocado production and trade. Results were obtained from direct interviews which showed the great power and influencof a reduced traders group has in Mexico City food supply center (CEDADF) and Michoacan which is the main avocado production area in our country.
