Abstract

This research exposes the consequences suffered by the agricultural development model after the "Gren Revolution" in the Comondu County of Baja California Sur. The rechearch deals with the cultivation petterns of the last 20 years and the consequences of the North America Free Trade Agreement faced by the Mexican producers. We present, as an alternative, the need of introducing organic agriculture as a new model for agricultural developement, ecological sustainability and economic sustainability and economic profitability.
