La agroecología y el manejo sustentable de los recursos forestales

Abstract

It is discussed about the study objetives of agroecology, that is to say, the ecosystem and the agroecosystem and some aspects of ecological research apply to agriculture. It is presented data about Mexico's forest richness and its importance in the preservation of natural resources and for the human communities. There are presented some examples that illustrated teh importance of forest resources in agricultural systems. It is discussed about viability of communal use of forest resources. The conclusions are: The forest subsystem must by part of the study of agroecology; the sustainable use of forest resources must be based on equitably, conservation and satisfaction of local needs; the communal use of forest resources is viable.
