Abstract

Toxic action of pesticides on health and the environment derives from their nature and functions, from which the damages to living organisms and abiotic resources are collated. We present structures of several compounds, physicochemical agents that induce some toxic activity, mechanisms of action and pharmacokinetics. The relationships between nature, toxicity, management and health are analyzed. Also, relevant quantification methodologies and its analytical properties are shown.
