Abstract

On of the main challenges of higher education institutions in Mexico is to form professionals with a future vision about the agricultural problems. This article points out the procedures and results of as prospective methodological strategy directed to promote the future stage of agriculture in Mexico and at the same time shows the future agronomist professional profile. Including aspects like: a) Agricultural problems diagnosis as well as traditional and local practices; b) Technological and social actions directed to solve any kind of farming problem; c) An analysis of forces, opportunities and weakness and their strategies used in farming productions; d) Technological and social controls; e) Evaluation.
