Biocombustibles. Estados Unidos, su estrategia hegemónica competitiva y la influencia en la política energética de México

Abstract

As a contribution to the Productive Innovation Network “Livestock dual purpose”of the municipality Guanarito, Portuguesa Venezuela, we evaluated the existing dairy potential “Caño Indio”, located in the southwest sector of the municipality. Field work began in 2006, in which a diagnosis was made, on the one hand to characterize the socioeconomic status of agro-productive units of milk in the sector and the food chain, and the other to determine strengths and weaknesses on milk production in the area and ultimately proposing improvements aimed at strengthening the brand of milk and its role in the local and regional levels. Conservation needs of the commodity, allowing producers develop the art of making cheese. However, the infrastructure is inadequate for the development of products, have basic tools and do not incorporate appropriate technologies into the production process. Rural producers of “Caño Indio”, are organized for smallscale production and require proposals for the marketing of dairy products.
