Abstract

Abstract. This paper analyses the peasant’s ideology in Morelos State, related to the golden fish diet, and how these decisions infl uences the commercial unit yield. Results show that 6,922.5 kg of food were administered, mainly chicken commercial food (69.3%) containing 17.5% of proteins. During the evaluated cycle (12 weeks) the growth of the golden carp was 0.28 mm/day. The average market size for selling was 31.9 mm. The water quality indicated: temperature of 25.6 ± 1.6°C, 7.1 ± 1.8 mg/l of dissolved oxygen, pH of 8.6 ± 0.9 and a hardness of 0.88 ± 0.28 dh. The infl uence of the peasant ideology was decisive to establish the feeding strategy was concluded, it implied: a low feeding in protein content, a high overpopulation and an inappropriate water quality, causing a faulty growth.
