Los derechos colectivos sobre los recursos genéticos, asociados al conocimiento tradicional en México. ¿Es posible la defensa de estos derechos desde la implementación del Protocolo de Nagoya?

The objective of this paper is to analyze if it is possible to defend collective rights on genetic resources, associated with traditional knowledge in Mexico since the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol. The work is divided into four sections: the first explains the theoretical perspective of this work. From a critical standpoint, the concept of governance is analyzed. In the second, the problems of access to genetic resources and benefit sharing is analyzed; in a third, the Nagoya Protocol is analyzed, and in the fourth, the case of Mexico, including the analysis of the initiative of the General Biodiversity Law. Finally, the conclusions are included.
