Abstract

Abstract. The true digestibility of amino acids in soybean meal was evaluated in fight cockerels, Round red y Round hash strain with 1 and 1.5 years old using feeding precise methodology. Six cockerels were experimental units and six controls an arrangement randomly; 24 hours before the cockerels did not eat and 48 hours after the feces were collected to obtain the amino acids value with by liquids chromatography technique. The results of the digestible amino acids in dry matter of soybean meal with 44 % crude protein were aspartic acid (93.15), threonine (80.58), serine (87.48), glutamic acid (94.31), glycine (73.64), alanine (84.63), valine (76.73), methionine (75.24) isoleucine (78.86), leucine (78.80), phenylalanine (57.10), histidine (89.70), lysine (79.90). Phenylalaline and glicine had less digestibility (P 0.05) among amino acids. These results may be used to formulate fight cockerels diets with soybean meal using ideal protein concept with digestible amino acids.
