Abstract

Since Spanish conquest of this country the sovereignty in mexican Agricultura has been divided by Creole groups who defended the new nation’s resources and the indigenous ones who claimed the use of their natural resources, land, water and woods. This double perspective is still present in Mexican rural sector by virtue of the fact taht not only the native carry on claiming the necessity to get back to their aommunity forms of production but private producers and peasants who declared that neoliberal policies instituted in mexican agriculture: the dependence on basic food supply, the reorganization of production in Mexican rural sector and the threat of transgenic materials eliminating rural and indigenous forms of production.
