Evaluación del cambio de uso de suelo y del paisaje regional en la sierra Zapalinamé, Coahuila

Abstract

The quantitative evaluation of changes it the soil and landscapeusage in Sierra Zapalinamé, Coahuila from 1974 to 1996 is reported trough the estimation of two variables: 1) the assessment of the substituting of one use for another, and 2) the analysis of the intensity of the chance in different year periods using and index of diversity of soil use. There is a great loss and transformation of habitats resulting in change of soul use. Changes from pasturelands to agriculture and natural or anthropogenic fires are changes and pressures resulted from the regional landscape usage that bas been forming inthe course the time. It is explained that the case area reoresents a high index of fragmentation and homogeinity as regards its components.
