Etnoecología y desarrollo sustentable en dos comunidades Tseltales de los Municipios Chilón y Sitalá Chiapas.

Abstract

Abstract. In this investigation, the local agrosystems, the socio-economics and environmental aspects and characteristics of two Chiapas communities; Sanulha’ in Chilón and San Agustín el Mirador in Sitalá and undertaken, from a ethnological perspective. The objective is to try to comprenhend the interrelationships established between the natural local resources conditions and the strategies implemented by the tseltal communities in the process of appropriation and the impacts effected in the environment. The ethno ecological perspective implemented allows to recognize and explain the resultants externalities imposed on soil usage and degradation. The analysis suggests possible future arrangements aiming at minimizing the actual natural deterioration tendencies and two build economics alternatives based on the tseltal ways of doing, “art de la localite”, cultural respect and the usage of de local natural capitals from a sustentable point of view.
