Utilidades económicas generadas por la lechería familiar

Abstract

With the intention of knowing the economic utilities generated by the familiar dairy in the community Benito Juárez in Almoloya de Juarez in Mexico state, calculation of the costs was made; totals, unitarians, income and utilities. One selected a sample of milk producers through a random sampling stratified and work with eight producers during a period of a year. To each selected productive unit a questionnaire was applied to him, a format of information capture and by means of the direct observation the production cost of a liter of milk for this period was determined. For the calculation of the costs, methodology of byproducts production costs was used, and two criteria were considered. Firstly, include Opportunity Cost of manual labor (CO) and in the second, was not include themselfs. Results indicate that when not considering the CO of manual labor, utilities from the fifth level of production are detected; also it was confirm that this activity is generating of uses, which are repaid 30 % below the effective minimum wage.
